Lots of people ask about our wedding colors.  This thrills me because I love color and I love working with and talking about color.  😀

Our wedding colors will be green, blue and cream.  We’re drawing the green and blue from Chris’s family tartan, the Ancient Douglas.  They’re really pretty, mid-saturation shades.  The blue has some yellow in it and the green has lots of blue, so they’re very harmonious together.  Because we don’t want the blue and green to overwhelm, we’re pairing them as accents with a dominant linen shade of cream.

That said, we are making and designing lots of stuff ourselves… so I have no idea how far we’ll take the color scheme.  I know that I’m hoping to incorporate blue into my dress, and my bridesmaids will be wearing the green.  And that’s about as far as we’ve thought it through so far.
